My name is David White, and I pastor Black Jack Baptist Church in Vaughan, MS. I live my life with 3 beautiful girls: my wife Elizabeth and my daughters Mary Frances and Martha Kate.

I am a graduate of Clinton High School, Clinton, MS, and hold degrees from Mississippi College, and George W. Truett Theological Seminary.

My three great hobbies are golf, woodworking, and (recently) hunting, but I am truly passionate about how Jesus saves the world, and chooses to do it through the Church. I have committed my life to obeying Jesus and leading His Church to do the same, so most of my writings will be church-related…although I may ramble on other subjects from time to time.

I like to write, put ideas and questions out there, and I yearn for responses. My hope is this blog may become a discussion starter or discussion center so please, if you read me, jump into the conversation!
